The Scene of the Crime

There it is. The most famous naked statue on earth. Now without a head. No fingerprints were found at the scene, and all of the cameras that captured the scene showed inconclusive results at best... a massive, slow moving, black cloak moved up to the statue, rose to its height, came back to the ground, and left with poor David's head.

The clues:

a) Four paintball smoke grenades filled with CHCl3 (chloroform).

b) Shrapnel from the door to the museum and the explosives used to blow it open.

c) Video evidence from a nearby building of the cloaked figure, looking like an old widow, pushing a shopping cart and heading south on the Via Ricasoli toward the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore.
